Prices refresh every 15 seconds when the app is open. A green "Live" indicator shows when prices are fresh. If the connection is delayed or offline, the app will show the last known price with a yellow or red indicator.
No. You can use live prices, the calculator, charts, and price alerts without an account. An account is only needed for the Compare and Treasure Box features, which store your gold piece data in the cloud.

The Zakat calculator uses the standard nisab threshold of 85 grams of pure 24K gold. It converts your gold holdings to 24K equivalent and calculates 2.5% zakat if above nisab. Always consult your local scholar for specific rulings.
