Thhebati ("we", "our", or "the App") is operated by Barmjni Solutions, a software development company based in Kuwait. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application.

2.1 Account Information (Optional)

If you create an account to use the Treasure Box or Compare features, we collect:

• Email address
• Display name
• Encrypted password (hashed, never stored in plain text)

2.2 Gold Piece Data

When you add gold pieces for comparison or tracking, we store:

• Shop name, karat, weight, price, and making charge
• Owner name and notes (if provided)
• Photos of gold pieces and receipts (uploaded to secure cloud storage)
• Purchase date and description (for Treasure Box items)

2.3 Locally Stored Data

The following data is stored only on your device and never sent to our servers:

• Calculator history and results
• Price alert preferences
• Language and theme settings
• Currency preference

2.4 Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect location data
• We do not collect contacts or phone numbers
• We do not use tracking or advertising SDKs
• We do not collect financial or payment card information (payments are processed by MyFatoorah)

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide live gold and silver prices from Kuwait market sources
• To store and display your gold piece collection for comparison and tracking
• To calculate gold values, zakat, and making charges
• To send price alert notifications (if you opt in)
• To process gold shop listing payments via MyFatoorah

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the App:

These services have their own privacy policies. We do not share your personal data with them beyond what is necessary to provide the App's functionality.

5. Data Security

• All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption
• Passwords are hashed using bcrypt before storage
• Authentication tokens (JWT) expire and must be refreshed
• Images are stored in private S3 buckets with presigned URLs

6. Data Retention & Deletion

Your account data and gold pieces are retained as long as your account is active. You may:

• Delete individual gold pieces or treasure items at any time from within the App
• Request full account deletion by contacting us at support@barmjni.com

Upon account deletion, all associated data including uploaded images will be permanently removed within 30 days.

7. Children's Privacy

Thhebati is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
